Announcing a sixteen year veteran Macular Degeneration specialist that has treated thousands of patients and helped them increase their vision!
From: Dr. Andy Rosenfarb Location: Westfield, NJ
Almost every day for the past sixteen years, my inbox is filled with messages from Macular Degeneration patients who I have helped recover and restore their vision with my acuvision system - although they were once skeptical as you might be right now.
Before I continue, I want you to know upfront that I am going to do everything in my power to educate you on the power of my acuvision system for Macular Degeneration.
Wouldn't you do the same thing if you knew you had the power to help thousands of people and the track record to back it up? I would like to think that you would.
My acuvision system is backed by research done by Johns Hopkins University. I created the protocol for the Johns Hopkins University study that other practitioners are now using all around the world.
How Have Our Patients Done?
We wish we could say that we hit a homerun every time, but of course we can't. Each case is different.
However...we have an 84% success rate of recovering and restoring vision in our patients and that is a conservative figure.
We are proud of that figure but we are always striving to do better.
Here is just one story from our patient files: Before my treatment I was concerned that the procedure would harm or make worse my condition. However, my peripheral vision improved tremendously!
I would recommend and already referred a person to Dr. Rosenfarb. I am very thankful to have met Dr. Rosenfarb, he gave me back my life and hope for the future! - Rebekah from Pennsylvania.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the treatments and how much will the treatment?
The investment is $2000 per week. It's either one or two weeks in length usually. Dr. Rosenfarb usually likes to see first time patients for two weeks. If the 2 weeks is not possible due to work or family, a patient must come for one week (5 days) in order for Dr. rosenfarb to tell if the treatments are working.
The investment includes: testing, consult, 2 treatments per day with about a 1 hour wait in between each treatment. They receive 10 treatments over 1 week and 20 treatments with 2 weeks. Testing is done on the first day, Friday of the first week and Friday of the 2nd week (if they stay for 2 weeks)
When do I return for more treatment?
This is determined by Dr. Rosenfarb. Once he has completed the testing on either Friday of the first week or Friday of the second week, he will sit down and go over the results.
Normally, it can be anywhere between 3 and 6 months. When patients do come back it is usually for 1 week. If a patient lives locally this might be different. Dr. Rosenfarb might suggest they come in for 1 day - 2 treatments - every couple of weeks or once a month, depending on the results.
Is the treatment covered by insurance?
Some plans do cover acupuncture treatment. Even if insurance does cover the treatment, patients still have to pay up front and we will give them a receipt to submit to their insurance company.
Medicare does not recognize acupuncture. They feel it is experimental and therefore will not cover the treatments at all. Being they do not cover we cannot submit anything to them and therefore the supplemental insurance will not pay either. Of course we do tell patients they can try but for the most part it does not work.
Some insurance companies will only cover pain management which again causes a problem being these treatments are for eyes. It does not matter who the insurance company is...the policy has to have acupuncture coverage on it in order to be covered. We can find that out once we have the information. We need the insurance company, ID #, Group #, date of birth.
Can I talk to Dr. Rosenfarb?
Absolutely. Nancy will take the patient's name, phone number and condition. Dr. Rosenfarb will call them back. Normally it is within a day or two at the most. Time wise, it all depends on when he is not with patients.
For out of the country patients, email is the only way for them to correspond with him. With the time difference it just does not work out for him to speak with patients via phone.
